Anyone who knows me knows I love cardigans. I pretty much stock all my female clients' closets full of colorful crew, vneck, draped, etc. cardigans. But the guys? Well, guys often put themselves in one of two categories: those who will wear cardigans and those who will not. My husband is, let's say, not pro-cardigan.
And so, a challenge was born. I was on a mission to see if I could convert a non-cardigan-wearing dude into a cardigan-loving dude. Is there a way I could style or re-invent the cardigan for my husband -- and other guys out there like him -- that would make sense to him? First, it would have to be unfussy so no way no how could I pair it with a buttonup and tie. Second, it would have to have weight to it. So, probably sticking with a wool instead of a cashmere. And third, to avoid any comparisons to Mr. Rogers, I was going to pair with jeans -- dark, dark jeans.
So, what did I come up with?
